In some missions the player can also command a support tank. It's really not necessary for the BiA games.Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is a 2005 video game developed by Gearbox Software and released by Ubisoft Studios. Oh, and Gearbox, please don't worry about multiplayer anymore with the series. Comparing the two franchises is pointless since the gameplay and overall design is so different between the two. And having recently played through CoD2 again, I'd forgotten just how freaking arcadey that game is (still awesome, but arcadey nonetheless). Road to Hill 30 is still the best in the current BiA 'trilogy' in my opinion. It really allows you to reevaluate your tactics. It's not the game being cheap with infinitely spawning enemies or chucking frags like there's no tomorrow, or the enemies simply being inhumanly accurate.

I've always appreciated the BiA series because, if you die, it's because you fucked up. And although Gearbox has been focusing on Borderlands primarily, I expect an announcement probably some time early next year. That said, the ending does set up for there to be another BiA installment, so hopefully Gearbox has taken the criticisms to heart. In retrospect, I think maybe the slow-mo gore-cam may have been a little less-than-tasteful of an idea. Also, the abandoned hospital level still feels out of place to me.

I enjoyed it a lot, but the controls felt very stiff, even with the sensitivity cranked up. 7:44:33 PM I'm about half way through and I think I've seen enough to stop playing. Taking out the fuel depot before blowing up the 88's ment no tanks would show up for reinforcements. You could tackle them at any rate you wanted, and of course which order you decided would have it's advantages. You've got to physically tell them to go the abritrary distance away, then tell them to turn around and blow whatever it is you want dead, up. They'll just stand there saying 'Ai ai sir', as if their going to do it. They won't tell you no, or move further away to get a shot.

At this moment, you'd toss a grenade, wait fro the enemy to reload, anything for a distraction and command your squad to rush the enemy position.
